Ask any teenager. Best to ask while they still know it all. ( just kidding). One thing for sure, they catch on to new things faster than us older ones.
My 35 year old daughter, Michelle, taught me how to post my picture. My 14 year old grand daughter Brittany, showed me how to open more than one page at a time. If it wasn't for the help of kids, I would of had to pay for classes.
Teens have more energy than I do, get up earlier than I ( like most of the world) , and do 50% of the volunteer work. O.K. Some of it is to impress the college of their choice. But life long habits are being formed now.
In the last 5 years, I moved 3 times. Teenagers passing by offered to help. I admit to paying for help. Yes, I gave each a $5 bill. Word got around the apartment complex.
At age 65 I needed all the help I could get. Old foxybird, foxybird123 is not as strong as she used to be. But I have my health. I am like an old car with 100,000 on it. Fix or repair daily as I go.
Teens come up with great ideas at the Science Fairs. I see kids breaking their backs carrying books home from school.
Someone asked for longer time between classes so the kids have time to return to their lockers and unload them. The kids were told there were too many teenage fights already.
Home schooling started for sick kids and pregnant girls. Now it includes kids from all walks of life. Bad kids run many schools. Good kids being picked on are encouraged to join home schooling to get away from trouble. Overcrowded classrooms are not good for kids or teachers. Some kids go to school hungry. No lunch money or bus fair for some. Trying to study in a noisy home is a problem for some of them.
Reach out and help someone along life's road. Ask God to send someone your way to help. Thank Him when the person arrives.
Then some day He will say, "Well done my good and faithful servant."
